So here's some Trans Am I am buying this week, soon as I can arrange pick up. Dawg.

Kinja'd!!!

Comes with all you see here, plus much, MUCH more!

Front end has been completely gone through...

Kinja'd!!!

And what hasn't been replaced (bushings) has been included:

Kinja'd!!!

Yeah it still needs some work, there was Bondo on this panel and the dent is still there, plus this awesome half dollar sized rust hole:

Kinja'd!!!

But except that, and the trunk sides, the car is very clean and straight and rust free. It came from CA, and since its been in WI, its been in storage and in its current condition, more or less.

Kinja'd!!!

The floors had pinhole rust, but have already been replaced...

Kinja'd!!!

Front and rear on both sides:

Kinja'd!!!

Car comes with a steel cowl hood, and a fiberglass shaker hood with hoo pin holes. But no shaker. Ain't care, LS swapping.

Kinja'd!!!

And for those who want to do the work for me (edit: just checked for myself), the body plate:

Kinja'd!!!

Yes, it's just a non t-top car (with WS6 front sway bar according to the seller, but its not installed), but for the price I can't pass it up, plus its a perfect foundation to put back together the way I want.

UPDATE: Seller says it was red, then painted silver, but according to the body plate it was a silver car with red deluxe vinyl interior. SO HAWT. I might just paint it back to silver. Funny, because I've been wanting my next car to be silver for some time.

I'm jelly. Mostly because I could probably afford a similar project car at the moment IF I LIVED IN THE US.

No clue. Probably something basic out of a truck (5.3 most likely, unless a later F-body motor can be had for cheap) with a hotter cam just for a subtle rumble.

Know what? I'm jelly. This is what your car would have come out of the factory looking like (except with the 7in wheels and no shaker).

Kinja'd!!!

You have a 1977 base model Firebird, painted Sterling Silver, built in Ohio, with deluxe Firethorn Red interior, and it was built in the 4th week of December.

The firewall looks great. I would use fiberglass to patch the holes in the trunk, that's what I did and it works pretty well. I personally would use the shaker hood and glue the shaker scoop to it like the PO of my car did. How does the interior look? Are you going to have to do a ton of wiring? YOU NEED TO NAME IT!

If you have any questions, just ask.

I can't afford his price on the interior bits at the moment. He has basic seats covered in black.... fuzz with charcoal piping. And his dash is cracked. I'll find something better, some day.

There's one bad spot on the firewall, the upper right hole for the heater box is kinda jagged.

Looks like it had your favorite engine option: Poncho 400.

You could repair the dash using a dash cap. They are pretty cheap and look correct. They are a bit of a pain in the ass to install correctly.

I went from this:

to this:

You can't afford his interior because I am hoarding the world's stock of trans am seats :P

Looks great! Much better than mine was when I bought it. Can't wait to see how this escalates.

Okay so you've decided on an LS engine, I get that, working and running with a 40 year old poncho engine can be a pain in the ass. But what transmission are you going for? Manual? auto? Or are you just gonna run with whatever the LS engine happens to be bolted up to?

I see you have some firethorne seats......

Either whatever the LS is bolted to, or a 700R4

With perfect frames... are you planning to go back to a red interior or are you going to switch it up and go with black?

The LS engine is better than the Poncho in every way. I get that. Still, you gotta use a Pontiac engine, at least a 400 if not a 455. Edelbrock makes aluminum heads for them now. Oh and you have to use the shaker hood instead of the cowl induction or it'll be mistaken for a Camaro. And you don't want that!

Not sure.... I guess it depends on what I can find complete and in decent condition for cheap when the time comes.
